blaming it on . . .
August 15, 2010
I’m going with altitude and a tough course.
The Georgetown to Idaho Springs Half Marathon was Saturday morning.
It was a perfect day. I felt fantastic. Loved the course. No PR.

Hey who are you calling tiny? In my mind I am quite gigantic. You should see my pic w/Dim!
I can’t wait to see that!!
OMG Marica. I can’t wait to hear how the meeting with Dim went! I’m surprised you haven’t changed your blog title yet!
I was just going to text you to see if you made it home safe and sound. Hope you had a great travel day today…I SO enjoyed our time together in CO – you are truly one of my very special friends and I’m so blessed to get to see you run!! You made me laugh so much with that bathroom thingie. I think you did AWESOME, girl! You spent 2 minutes at that bathroom at mile 2 and you were 8000′ above where you live….you ROCKED that race! Your body felt great, you ran strong, and you never had any problems…that says a lot. Now the temps are cooling and you’re going to take off running! Can’t wait to see you in October…and if you want any help with a plan for RnR Denver, you know where to find me :).
LOVE YOU!!!!
And say hi to the hubby for me :).
You are in my mind – literally! Wait til you see the next post.
Thanks so much Jill – couldn’t have done it without you.
see you soon. . .again!!
Love you back.
Whoohooo! Can’t wait to hear that race report! (In the picture world, I know that the person on the end with the sideways view always looks the thickest; it’s why I always head towards the middle!!!!)
Oh great. Now you tell me. Next time I shove you out of the picture and put me in the middle!
No way baby, I’ve taken enough “fat pictures” to know better then to let anyone shove me to the end! Hehe!
It was sooo great to meet you on Saturday. I look forward to seeing you in October at the Denver half, which you are totally going to rock out!
Yay, love the picture, just put it on my blog. Loved talking erections with you. We’ll always have erections. And looking forward to seeing you in CO again in October.
Erections and band camp.
ps – I started that afternoon. I’m blaming that on you!
