About me: SS Mother Runner

Hi.  Thanks for visiting ‘the blog’.

About me:  I’m a mom. I’m a wife. I’m a counselor. I’m a runner. I’m sarcastic. I’m crude. I’m God’s child. I’m having fun – most days..

This blog is for folks who run, walk, race, or just like to watch someone trip and fall (daily) as she attempts to run out her demons and daily frustrations.

I work with parents and children who are struggling.  Struggling to discipline and be disciplined.  Struggling to love and feel loved.  Struggling to connect and stay connected.  I love the families I work with and sometimes that can hurt.  There is abuse, heartache and healing.  The healing is my favorite part.  Every parent deserves to be heard and every child deserves to be loved.

Got a parenting story to share?  Post a response.  Got a question about parenting? Running? Training? Finding a race? … you got it! Post a response.  Does that mean I have an answer? Who knows.  But together we can figure  it out.

The verse that keeps me going as a parent, helper and runner:  Run the race set before you. Hebrews 12:1 Whatever that race may be.

As Always, Run on Friends!
