‘posturing’ – and a million other thoughts

April 7, 2010

We went to visit Jeff last night.  He didn’t look better.   Mom is not doing well.  She’s exhausted and won’t leave the hospital.   This is harder than I expected.  Jeff is beginning to ‘posture’ – my brain can’t quite understand or explain and I don’t feel the need to.  I don’t have the desire to google it and am ok with that.

Just finished my run – 45 minute tempo – 5.2 miles @ 8:39 avg. pace.  Not too bad.  Wanted to stop so many times.  Kept thinking, “10 minutes is too long” then remembered how much longer it must be when you are waiting for your husband to wake up.

Lot’s of folks are praying.  That’s good.  Keep praying.  I’m not doing so well with conversation or answering questions.

I have a presentation this weekend.  Even though I present constantly – I don’t know what to say.

Work is helping.  Talking to 3 & 4 year olds is so much fun.  I could spend everyday just talking with them.  Their little minds are so funny.  Such a relief.

FastRunnerFriend (FRF) started a blog – she’s a genius with a huge heart.  Visit her new blog Running With a Reason and welcome her to blogland.  She would love it!

Tomorrow is BigFoot’s first track meet.  So interested to watch him on land. 🙂  (He’s already looking forward to swimming again)

Thanks again for thoughts and prayers.  It means the world to our entire family.  Please continue to lift up Mom & Jeff.

Keep Running the Race.

Tough times. My thoughts are with you and your family. Try and keep the runs in to give yourself an outlet.

I’ll stop by the new the new blog and say HI.
